Chinese Cupping
What is Cupping Therapy?
Chinese cupping is a time-honored therapy that has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike massage, which applies positive pressure down into the muscles, cupping uses negative pressure (suction) to lift the tissues upward.
By creating a gentle vacuum inside glass or silicone cups placed on the skin, this therapy draws stagnant blood, toxins, and cellular debris up to the surface layer where the lymphatic system can more easily flush them away.
The "Marks" of Healing
The signature circular marks left behind are not bruises; they are a sign of released stagnation. The darker the mark, the more congestion was brought to the surface. These naturally fade within a few days to a week.
